Of course, there are thousands of news stories going on every day, but I tried to narrow it down to the top five that have currently been trending.

A Jewish Cemetery was vandalized near St. Louis, Missouri. There was a crowdfunding campaign started by Muslim Activists to help raise money to help repair the cemetery. As of Wednesday morning, the group raised $70,000.

A Nasa telescope captured an image of seven new planets around a star in a nearby system of planets near to Earth in constellation Aquarius. At least three of the planets are in the “habitable zone” meaning that there is a chance they contain water and could sustain life.
- Milo Yiannopoulos’ Comments on Pedophilia Split the Alt-Right
Milo Yiannopoulos was one of the editors of the Alt-Right website publication “Breitbart.” After his comments surfaced, wherein he condoned pedophilia, he is facing repercussions. Some of the repercussions he is facing are but not limited to: lost book deals that were worth $250,000, resignation from “Breitbart,” and some of his allies from the Alt-Right turning against him. Interestingly enough some members of the Alt-Right still support Yiannopoulos even though he himself has stated that he is not a member of the Alt-Right movement.
