As my local church begins its final week of fasting, I have decided to share this week on one of the topics we have been focusing on, “time.” During moments of our life we can take time for granted while preparing for our blessings. We often pray to God for great manifestations to happen in our life and long for Him to turn situations around for us, yet we hate to wait. We must understand one of the most significant parts of this new season in our lives is time. TRUST HIM as you pray. Pray this prayer with me…

Father, I come to you with all that I bear, admitting to you that I have not allowed for you to fully reside within my life. I must acknowledge that my faith has dwindled in this time of doubt. I have worried more than I have prayed. I have fought more with flesh than I have taken the time to seek the Holy Spirit as a guide into all things true. My eyes were once shut to the fullness of who you are, and your capability to change my circumstances as you did for Daniel in the lion’s den. You are a God that sits high and looks low. With haste you will ensure that I won’t become devoured by what’s plaguing me now. As the three Hebrew boys, you are competent to see what I am facing and step in just in time. Heavenly Father, trials and sorrows are a normal part of life. I don’t like this truth, but it reminds me of my need for you, God. I can take heart in the fact that you will have the final word. God, thank you for your perfecting timing. Bless me with patience as I await for you to work on my behalf. I praise you because you are powerful and sovereign over my life even in the hard times. Always keep me looking to you. AMEN.

Isaiah 40:31 NLT

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.
